What Are Personality Types in Tomodachi Life?
In *Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream*, every Mii on your island is assigned one of 16 distinct personality types. These personalities control how your Mii talks, what hobbies they prefer, how they handle romance, and how they interact with every other islander.

All 16 types fall into four broad groups. Each group shares core behavioral traits:
Considerate (Easy-Going)
Gentle, kind Miis who avoid conflict and care deeply about others. They are slow to anger, quick to apologize, and prioritize harmony on the island. Outgoing (Energetic)

How Personality Is Calculated
Your Mii's personality is determined by four of the five creation sliders: Speech, Movement, Thinking (called Attitude in EU/AU regions), and Energy. The fifth slider, Overall, affects speaking style but does not change personality type.

Cheerleader (ESFJ) — Warm, supportive, and always encouraging others. Cheerleaders remember birthdays, celebrate friends' achievements, and keep the island's mood positive. They are the social glue that holds groups together.
Buddy (ISFJ) — Reliable, protective, and devoted to close friends. Buddies may seem quiet at first, but once they bond with someone, they become that person's most trusted companion. They dislike change and prefer routine.
